Get Involved!

Whether you’ve volunteered before, need to complete service hours, are passionate about the arts, want to develop new skills, or simply want to join our amazing FOPAC family, there are countless ways to get involved.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • Front of House: Serve as an usher, assist with box office sales, or take on the role of house manager for performances.
  • Theatre Production: Help with costumes, lighting and sound (training provided), set building, props, stage management, crew support, or even acting.
  • Gallery Exhibits: Assist with installation, hosting, and tear-down.
  • Special Events: Support community favorites like the Garden Gala for the Arts and Fair Oaks Folk Fest and other annual celebrations.
  • Friends of FOPAC: Become part of our membership circle that supports our programs year-round.
  • Box Office: Volunteer at our front desk, Tuesday–Friday from 12:00–5:30 PM.

No prior experience is necessary (*for most roles). We’re happy to provide training, and each opportunity offers a chance to grow personally and professionally.

FOPAC Volunteer Participation Code (VPC)

Creating a positive, inclusive culture is essential to the success of the Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center. To support this, we’ve developed a Volunteer Participation Code (VPC)—a brief community agreement that outlines expectations for respect, safety, and professionalism.
