Counselors in Training (CIT) have an essential role in helping run our CFO program. Children will look up to you for support and guidance, which will teach you leadership skills as you act as a role model for them. Working alongside our welcoming and encouraging staff, you can expect to learn a lot this summer and grow in confidence as you move into a new phase of your life and education. CFO has a proven track record of developing youth to become bright, successful young adults!
Applications for School Break Camps NOT REQUIRED. Applications for the Summer 2026 Season will open April 1, 2026 at 9AM, and will be reviewed and approved on a first come, first served basis. Applications must be completed by the CHILD.
Summer Counselor In Training Applications
An online application must be completed in order to participate (accessible via this webpage - on April 1 an online application form will go live), please ensure your child completes it with their grown up. Once applications are received, applicants will be contacted confirming their attendance. Parent / Guardian will then be contacted to complete the registration process. Parents / Guardians of all applicants will hear directly from the Recreation Supervisor on the status of their registration and application starting the week of April 6-10, 2026 and will be contacted via phone to complete their registration.
Participants will be able to select as many weeks of the summer that you are available on their application, however CIT's will only be selected for a maximum of 3 weeks, first come, first served. This change is brought forward by an increased interest in the CIT program, and a desire to provide the CIT experience to as many young teens as possible. Should additional desired weeks become available, you will be contacted directly by the Recreation Supervisor to register online. Registration cannot be completed by the parent/guardian online.
